As a member of the Agriculture committee, it was great to join friends and colleagues on this year's Clinton County Legislative Agriculture Tour. We checked out Adirondack Farms to learn about their new digesters and barns that are under construction, learned about the process of packing apples at Chazy Orchards, and ended the day at the Miner Institute, where we enjoyed lunch and a tour of some of their crop and soil research projects and cow barns. Thank you to the Cornell Cooperative, the Clinton County NY Farm Bureau, and the Clinton County Soil & Water Conservation District for hosting another successful and informative agriculture tour.
