Yesterday I went to the Almanzo Wilder Farm for the Harvest Fest and Civil War reenactment. I met three generations of the Wingler family, who are proud reenactors, and I even got to fire off a musket and the cannon! I also made fresh apple cider with some board members of the museum. I look forward to this two-day celebration of living history and agriculture every Fall, and I want to thank Angela Trombley and her crew for putting on another great event.
