Yesterday I went out to Tupper Lake to meet with local officials there. While I was out, I had the pleasure of speaking with several of my constituents as I visited local businesses around town, including The Washboard Donut Shoppe where I grabbed a half dozen of my favorite donuts and spoke with Tina about the busy summer season. I also visited The Well Dressed Food Company and Tupper Lake Supply, where I spoke with Dominic about some of the great ideas he has about expanding business. Then, I visited Earth Girl Designs to see some of the beautiful work that Rachel King does there. I'd heard a lot of great things about Rachel's business, and I was beyond impressed with what she's done and all the hard work it took to get her business going! I ended my day in Tupper Lake by meeting with local officials, the Tupper Lake Golf Club, and community members about some of the improvements they've made to the club and the surrounding area. I pledged to continue to support them in their ongoing efforts, and I look forward to working with them!
